On the Admin Panel History View pages, the Administrator can review additional results for packages that have been sent or shared by account users. To visit the Admin Panel History page, follow these steps:
1. Click Admin Panel. A sub-menu will appear.
2. Click History.
The File Views column can display two types of results:
a) Views:
This appears when a package has been sent to a single recipient. Clicking Views will open the views page, where you can see how many times the recipient has viewed each file.
b) Total Views:
This appears when a package has been sent to multiple recipients. Clicking Total Views will open the views page, where you can see the total number of views for each file, aggregated across all recipients. You will also see average duration times for video, audio, and document views among recipients.
When you open the Views page, you will first notice the Package Analytics section. If the package was sent via email, you will also see an Emails section. Below is a description of each result:
Package Analytics
-
Total Views: Displays the total number of package views, including multiple views by the same recipients.
-
Unique Views: Records only one view per recipient, regardless of how many times they viewed the package. This total is useful when sending the package to multiple recipients, ensuring only one view per recipient is counted.
-
Conversion Rate: Shows the percentage of recipients who viewed the package and acted on one of the following conversion methods:
- a) Provided their contact information through the package Response Form.
- b) Clicked on the Link Button in the package and visited the configured URL.
- c) Provided their contact information by completing the Link to Package form to access the package.
To learn more about conversion, please refer to the article titled Converting Someone Who Views a Package.
- Total Leads: Clicking Total Leads will take you to a page displaying the information entered by recipients who viewed the package and converted.
Emails
- Recipients: Displays the total number of email recipients.
- Opened: Shows the number of recipients who opened the email.
- Open Rate: Displays the percentage difference between the total recipients who did not open the email versus those who did.
- Complaints: Shows the number of recipients who reported your email as spam. For more information on complaints, refer to the article titled What is Email Spam.
- Unsubscribed: Displays the total number of recipients who unsubscribed from receiving your emails.
-
Bounced: Displays the total number of bounced emails. There are two types of bounces:
- Hard Bounce: Occurs when an email is sent to an address that does not exist.
- Soft Bounce: Occurs when the email address exists, but the email is returned due to a full inbox or a server issue.
For details on how Vuepak handles hard and soft bounces, and how they affect your address books, refer to the article titled How Vuepak Attempts to Prevent Email Bounces.
Note: It's crucial to keep your address books clean to avoid complaints and hard bounces. Too many of these can harm your domain’s reputation. To learn more about cleaning your address books and useful tools, refer to the article titled Cleaning Your Address Books.
Results are displayed by file category, including video, audio, images, documents, and downloads. You can see how many times each media file has been viewed, listened to, or downloaded.
Note: When files are downloaded from the players and viewers, Vuepak counts the download as a view.
If anyone who viewed your package clicked Like or Dislike for a media file, the results will be shown in the Rating column.
Clicking Details under the File Log column will take you to the Details page. There, you can see the date and view details for each file. For video, audio, and documents, you will also be able to see how long each file was viewed or listened to.
Learn more in the article titled View Details.
The Total Views page provides the combined total view results of multiple recipients. For Video and Audio, it also displays the Average Duration of views for all recipients combined.
