Converting Someone that Views a Package

There are many useful cases for converting someone who views a package. For this purpose, Vuepak packages can have a button located in the upper right corner.

There are two methods for converting someone who views a package:

a) Using a Response Form Button that opens a form when someone clicks the button on your package. For example, if you are promoting an upcoming special event, you might post a package on social media that includes a promotional video, photos, and a document with the event details. You can label the package button "RSVP." When viewers click the button, they can enter their information to reserve their seat, making it an easy way to build your list of attendees.

b) Using a Link Button to direct viewers to another page. For instance, you might create a package that includes a video, images, and a brochure for your product. You can label the button "Buy Now" and link it to your product page or shopping cart for purchases.

These are just a couple of examples, but you can create your own use cases.

To set up conversions, follow these steps:

If you are the administrator or have been given Edit or Create Packages permissions, you will see Create Packages on the main menu. Learn more about permissions. 

1. Click on Create Packages on the main menu.

2. Choose a package and click the Convert icon.

Once you are on the Convert page, you will see three options: Response Form Button, Link Button, or No Button. To set up the Response Form Button, follow these steps:

1. Click Response Form Button.

2. Enter a Button Label. If you leave this field blank, it will default to "Send a Response".

3. Optional: You can also add a URL address to redirect recipients to another website after submitting the form. To enable this feature, checkmark Redirect recipients to this address after submitting form and enter the URL. Please include a complete address such as http://www.mywebsite.com.

4. Click Save.

The following is an example of what the package looks like after the recipient clicks the Response Form Button. If you uploaded your photo on the My Account page, it will appear on this form.

To set up the Link Button, follow these steps:

1. Click Link Button.

2. Enter a Button Label. If you leave this field blank, it will default to "Buy Now."

3. Enter the URL in the field labeled Send Recipient To This Address. Please include a complete address, such as http://www.mywebsite.com/shoppingcart/myproduct.html.

4. Click Save.

You can preview how your package will look by clicking Preview.

The following is an example of what the package looks like with the Link Button. Be sure to test your package button to ensure it redirects correctly.

If you prefer not to have a button on the package, select No Button.
