The purpose of the Lead Import page is to allow the Administrator to import leads and route them directly to users in Vuepak. To import the leads, follow these steps:
1. After assigning your leads to users in your CRM or other contact management software, export a spreadsheet in one of the following formats: CSV, XLS, or XLSX. Below is a sample of what the output file should look like.
Important Note: The column on the far right shows the first and last name of the contact’s Owner, typically the Sales Rep assigned to that lead. This name must exactly match the name of a Vuepak user in your account, as it determines how leads are routed. Alternatively, you can use the Sales Rep’s email address instead.
It's also helpful to review the column headers before uploading, as they will assist you in mapping your contacts to their appropriate fields. The leads will be imported to an Address Book named Admin Leads in each user account.
2. On the Vuepak main menu, click Admin Panel. This will open the submenu.
3. Click Lead Import
4. Drag and drop your file or use the Browse option. A mapping page will now appear.
5. In the Map To column, use the dropdown for each entry to map it to its corresponding field.
6. Optional: If your spreadsheets are organized the same way each time, you can save your custom mapping by checking the box next to Save Custom Mapping and naming your map before clicking Import. This will allow you to easily select your saved mapping from a dropdown during your next import.
