The Resellers section offers powerful features for companies that rely on resellers to sell their products. You can quickly share product packages and sequences with resellers, with any changes you make to packages and sequences becoming immediately available to them. This feature allows you to efficiently distribute media assets and provide your resellers with essential marketing support.
Additionally, you can monitor the effectiveness of your media assets and messaging, helping to improve the overall performance of your reseller network.
To access the Resellers page, follow these steps:
1. Click Admin Panel on the main menu.
2. Click Resellers.
You are now on the Resellers Home page.
There are two ways to add your resellers:
a) Manually, one by one
b) Importing a reseller list from your existing system
You can export your reseller list to a spreadsheet in CSV or XLS format. You only need their first name, last name, and email address.
Important Note: The Reseller contact you add to Vuepak will be the account holder and Administrator for their own account.
To manually add a reseller one at a time, follow these steps:
1. Click the Action menu.
2 Click Add New Reseller.
3. Enter the Reseller Name / Company Name.
4. Enter the Administrator First Name.
5. Enter the Administrator Last Name.
6. Enter the Administrator Email.
7. Click Send Invitation.
The reseller will receive an invitation email to sign up for Vuepak. Once the reseller signs up, you will be able to assign packages and sequences.
Important Note: Only resellers who receive and accept an invitation from you will be associated with your account.
b) Importing a reseller list from your existing system
1. Click the Action menu.
2. Click Import Resellers.
3. Browse or Drag and Drop your file.
4. Map your fields to match the required information. The Column Header refers to the header in your spreadsheet file.
5. If you plan to use the same format for future imports, check the Save custom mapping option and give it a name. This will allow you to quickly recall your field mapping settings next time.
6. Click Import.
The Reseller table will display the following columns:
- Reseller: Shows the reseller company name.
- Administrator: Displays the account administrator's name.
- City: The city where the reseller is located (appears when the reseller creates an account).
- State: The state where the reseller is located (appears when the reseller creates an account).
- Invitation Status: Indicates the status of the invitation—Not Sent, Sent, Accepted, or Rejected.
- Package: Clicking Permissions allows you to assign media packages to the reseller.
- Sequence and Template: Clicking Permissions allows you to assign sequences, their messages, and their templates to the reseller. When creating a sequence, it’s good practice to use reseller templates for your sequence messages. This allows you to assess the effectiveness of your subject lines and message content by reviewing results in the Reseller Template Log. Reseller templates are specifically designed for use in reseller sequences and do not appear on the reseller's templates page. Please note that the reseller will not see the sequence until it is activated. To learn more about activating a sequence, please refer to the last step in the article titled Adding Steps to Your Sequence. If a reseller sequence is deactivated or deleted by its creator, it will no longer appear for the reseller.
If you select the checkbox on a reseller entry, the Action menu provides the following options:
- Send Reseller Invitations: Sends invitations to multiple resellers at once.
- Delete Resellers: Allows you to delete multiple resellers at once.
- Bulk Assign Packages: Assigns media packages to multiple resellers at once.
- Bulk Assign Sequences: Assigns sequences to multiple resellers at once.
