To send packages via email, follow these steps:
1. Click Send Packages on the main menu and select Email Packages.
2. Your packages will now appear on the left. To add a package, check the box next to its name. You’ll notice that the package image will then appear under "Remember these options" on the right side. You can add more packages if desired.
Hint: If packages are missing, they have not been assigned to you. Only your account administrator can assign packages. If you are the administrator, please refer to the article titled Assigning Packages to Users.
Note: When sending multiple packages, they will be presented to the recipient in the order you selected.
Option: Right above the packages, you can set an Expiration Date. After this date, the recipient will no longer be able to view the package. This selection will only affect the recipients you are sending to in this specific instance and will not impact anyone you have sent to in the past or will send to in the future.
3. If you have added multiple email accounts, select the email account from which you want to send this message.
4. Enter the recipient's First Name.
Note: You can also send packages to contacts in your address books by clicking the Send to Contacts dropdown and selecting the appropriate option. Additionally, you can send packages to an entire address book. To learn more, see the article titled Emailing Packages to Contacts in an Address Book.
5. Enter the Last Name.
6. Enter the Email Address.
Hint: Additional names and emails can be added using a semicolon divider ; .
Important Note: Like any email client, when you add multiple contacts to the To field, everyone will receive the same message. Therefore, the tracking results will be an aggregate of all recipients, and they will be able to see who else the message was sent to. Vuepak offers the option to send the message to each entered contact individually, allowing you to track results for each recipient and view totals and averages of all results combined. To select this option, checkmark Send and Track Results for Each Contact Individually.
Hint: Any name and email address entered for the first time will automatically be added to the Default Address Book. The next time you send to the same recipient, their information will appear as an autofill option once you start typing their name or email.
7. Enter a Subject or insert an email template using the Insert Template dropdown.
8. If you did not use a template, write your message in the message field. When writing your message, you can add placeholders. The Placeholders icon looks like this, { }, and is located at the bottom right of the message field. Placeholders will be populated when you send out messages. For example, if you are sending a message to multiple recipients, you could use the First Name placeholder as a salutation, such as Dear {{first_name}}. Vuepak will populate your recipient's first name in every email sent.
(Optional) Click Ask AI to access helpful features that can assist you in writing your message.
Lastly, you can add a trackable link with custom anchor text by clicking the link icon.
9. Review Your Options:

Email me when the package is opened: This option will notify you via email when your package has been opened and any file has been reviewed.

Email me every time the package is opened: This option will send you an email each time the package is reopened by any recipient.

Bcc me: This option will send you a blind copy of the package you are sending.

Add Signature: Adds your signature to the email if you have entered and saved your information on the My Account page. The signature details will appear in the following order:

a) Your First and Last Name
b) Your Title
c) Your Phone NumberNote: Vuepak will display your company number and extension if entered on the My Account page. If you have also entered a direct number, that entry will take priority and will be shown instead.
d) Your Company Logo

Remember these options: When checked, your selected options will reappear the next time you send a package.

Password (Optional): If you enter a password, your recipient will be required to enter that password before opening the package. You must provide your recipient with the password via phone or another means.
10. Click Schedule if you want to schedule the delivery for a future date. Otherwise, click Next to view the email preview tab and select an email graphic template.
11. From the Email Preview tab, select an email graphic template. Your selection will be remembered for your next time.
12. Click Send, Save As Draft, or Next to view the package preview tab, or click Back to return to the previous tab.
13. On the Package Preview tab, you can click Send, Save As Draft, or Cancel. Once you click Send, you will receive a confirmation that your package was sent.
Hint: If you are sending multiple packages, you can preview each one by selecting the package name from its header.
