Creating message templates provides an efficient way to quickly send out both email and text messages. You can also use these templates in company and reseller sequences. Additionally, you’ll be able to monitor results to evaluate the effectiveness of your subject lines and messages.
1. To create a new template, click Templates on the main menu.
Note: On the left, you will see three categories: My Templates, Team Templates, and Reseller Templates.
- My Templates are only visible to you.
- Team Templates are visible to everyone in your company’s account. Anyone on your team can use and make changes to these templates.
- Reseller Templates can only be utilized within Reseller Sequences. On the templates page, they will only be visible to the creator.
2. Click the + sign next to a category to create a new folder.
3. Name your folder. Examples include Prospecting, Follow-Up, and more.
4. Click Save.
Hint: After your folder is created, you can rename or delete it by clicking the submenu next to the folder name.
5. Select the new folder.
6. Click the New Template button.
7. Select the type of template you are writing. Email or Text Message.
8. Name your template.
9. Enter a Subject line if email.
10. Write the Message Body.
(Optional) Click Ask AI to access helpful features that can assist you in writing your message.
When creating templates, you can use placeholders that are dynamically populated when you send out messages. For example, if you’re sending a template to multiple recipients, you can use the First Name placeholder in the salutation, such as "Dear {{First Name}}." Vuepak will automatically insert the recipient’s first name in each email. The placeholder icon {} is located at the bottom right under the message field.
Lastly, you can add a trackable link with custom anchor text by clicking the link icon.
11. Click Save.
To edit a template, click the edit pencil icon.
Click the checkbox to the right of the template name to reveal the Action Menu. This menu allows you to move, copy, delete, or archive your template.
To change the order of your templates, click and hold the Drag icon to the right of the template name, then move it to your desired position.
