To add contacts to a sequence, follow these steps:
1. Click Address Book on the main menu.
2. Select the address book and click the Manage icon.
Options
A) Time Zone IQ.If your contacts have at least their city, state, and country filled in, you can click Time Zone IQ to automatically assign the correct time zone for each contact. This ensures that sequence messages are delivered at the specified time in their local time zone.
B) Hide Active in Sequence. Toggle this option to hide contacts currently active in any sequence. You can then select from the remaining contacts.
C) Hide Processed in Sequence. Toggle this option to hide contacts that have previously gone through any sequence. You can then select from the remaining contacts.
3. Checkmark the contacts you want to add to the sequence.
Important Note: If you click the "Select All" checkmark, only the contacts visible on the current page will be selected, not all contacts in your address book.
To select all contacts in your address book, click "Select All # contacts" instead.
4. Click the Action dropdown.
5. Select Add To Sequence.
6. Select the sequence you wish to use.
7. Optional: Choose the step where you would like the contacts to start.
8. Choose whether you want the sequence to begin immediately or if you want to schedule the first step for a future date.
9. Click Start Sequence.
Important Note: If you schedule a sequence for today's date, it will execute at the selected time for the first step. Any contacts in a time zone where the scheduled time has already passed will receive the message the next day at the scheduled time of the first step.
Tip: You can set the contact's time zone when you add a new contact or by editing an existing contact in the address book. To learn more about address books, please refer to the article titled Introduction to Address Books.
