If you would like to send text messages and include packages, you can purchase phone numbers on the SMS Settings page.
Important Note: In order to send SMS and MMS messages to US 10DLC phone numbers, all messages must be sent via an approved application-to-person (A2P) Campaign. Any unregistered U.S. bound messages will be blocked. Blocked messages will return an "Undelivered" status in the Vuepak Activity Log.
A2P 10DLC refers to Application-to-Person messaging using a 10-digit long code, which is a standard phone number format in the United States. This system is used by U.S. based carriers to allow businesses to send authenticated and secure SMS and MMS messages to mobile users. It is designed to provide trust and safety for consumers receiving the messages and helps to ensure that businesses are sending messages in a compliant manner.
Anyone who wants to send text messages from any application to U.S. based mobile numbers is required to register. The registration option will appear on the SMS Settings page. Our SMS partner is Twilio. If you'd like to learn more about registration before getting started, please review the Twilio article titled What is A2P 10DLC?.
