On the History page, you will see a listing of the messages you have sent and the packages you have shared, along with several related options.
To visit the History page, click History on the main menu.
You are now on the History page. Below is a description of its columns and features.
The Name column displays what was sent or shared. If multiple packages were sent at once, it will show the total number of packages instead of individual names. You can click the View icon to preview the package(s).
For messages without a package:
-
"Email" will appear for email messages
-
"Text" will appear for text messages
The Sent To column displays the recipient’s name and email address if an email was sent, or their name and mobile number if a text message was sent.
To view the content:
-
Click the Email icon to view the email
-
Click the Text icon to view the text message
When packages are shared, this column also shows the location where the package was shared such as a social site, blog or other. To learn more about sharing, see the article titled Sharing Packages on Social Media and Beyond.
To forward an email message, click the Forward icon. If the message includes a package, it will be forwarded as well.
Note: If the entry contains multiple packages and one or more have been deleted, Vuepak will only forward the remaining available packages.
Clicking the View Activity icon will display whether the package has been opened, along with the date and time of the opening.
If your message includes a link, such as "Book Demo" or any other, and the link is clicked, the link icon will appear. Clicking the icon will display the date and time the link was clicked.
When sending to multiple individual recipients at once, the Multi-recipient icon appears instead of the View activity icon. Clicking on the Multi-recipient icon will display all your recipients for that entry.
The Multi-recipient icon also appears when you enable the Link to Package form to collect new leads. It will show when more than one lead completes the form to view the package. Clicking on the icon will reveal the individual history entries for each lead. You can learn more about the Link to Package option by reading the article titled Sharing Packages on Social Media and Beyond.
When you share a package using Link to Package, you will see a link icon. Clicking it will copy the link to your clipboard so you can paste it anywhere you like.
The Date Sent column displays the date and time when the message was sent or a package was shared. If the message is scheduled for a future date, that scheduled date and time will be shown instead.
The Expiration column shows when the package will expire and no longer be available for viewing. For packages with an expiration date, you can change the date by clicking the Calendar icon. You also have the option to set it to Never Expires, but this choice is not reversible. The only remaining option is to delete the entry to make it unavailable.
Important Note: If you have leads tied to a package entry, you will need to download them before deleting the entry, or they will be lost. To learn how to download your leads, see the article titled View Your Leads and Their Comments.
The Status column indicates whether the package was Sent, Scheduled to be sent, Resent, Shared, saved as a Draft, or if the package entry has been Deleted. You can also resend any package that you have emailed to the same recipient(s) by clicking Resend.
The Resume option appears when an email blast has been halted by Vuepak due to too many bounces or complaints. You must clean the affected address book before the Resume option allows you to continue. To learn more about managing your address books, please see the following articles:
How Vuepak Attempts to Prevent Email Bounces
The column on the far right provides checkboxes to delete history entries. You can also select all entries by checking the box in the header. To delete an entry, check the box next to it in the column, then click Delete. Once the entry is deleted, the recipient will no longer be able to open the package.
Important Note: Deleting an entry will result in the loss of the activity log results and any associated leads for that entry. The package itself does not get deleted; only the entry in the history is removed.
All columns also feature a sorting option to the right of the column name, allowing you to display the results alphabetically.
You can use the Search Box to search by package name, recipient name, or email address. Click the X in the search field to clear the search and display all of your entries again.
